The Story of the Pandas is an absurd tale about the relationship between a man who spends his life oscillating between music and alcohol and a mysterious woman who enters his life. The process that begins when the two meet transforms into an encounter where reality and fiction become increasingly intertwined, and the everyday gives way to a surreal atmosphere. As their relationship progresses, the pair’s pasts, desires, and the bond they form with one another gradually come to light.

The play explores themes of loneliness, relationships, everyday life, and the conflicts within human relationships through a narrative that intertwines absurd humor with surreal elements.

The emergence of risky behaviors, especially during adolescence, is closely linked to the specifics of brain development, impulsivity, personality formation, the need for belonging, and difficulties with emotional regulation. This seminar will explore the neurobiological foundations of addiction, early warning signs, common mistakes families make when intervening, protective parenting approaches, and modern treatment methods. By integrating scientific data, clinical experience, and a psychodynamic perspective, this program aims to provide a comprehensive view for parents who wish to understand addiction within the context of human development and psychological structure, recognize early warning signs, and build healthier relationships with their children, as well as mental health professionals interested in this topic.

Ferhat Aydın, who has been touring nonstop across 3 countries and 45 cities for 11 years, launched this “psycho-show”—the first of its kind in the world and a social entrepreneurship initiative — with the idea: “Since you don’t come to us, I’ll come to you”—the “psycho-show” format, which is the first of its kind in the world and can be viewed as a form of social entrepreneurship, — to dispel misconceptions and fill gaps in knowledge about mental health in our country, thereby striving to contribute to the field of “preventive and protective psychology.”
