Havva

Inspired by Vüs’at O. Bener’s short story "Havva" and the character "Tina" from Irmak Zileli’s award-winning novel "Son Bakış" (Last Glance), "Havva," written by Sinem Koşar, brings to the stage the story of women who take their destiny into their own hands. This play, seen through the eyes of Havva, who leans on hope rather than drama, choosing to laugh, resist, and continue on her path with determination, is a call to courage, declaring, "This story will change!" In this world constructed between dream and reality, past and present, Havva refuses to be "the other," and with her faith, she struggles to change both her own story and the destinies of those around her. Awarded the Jury Special Prize at the XI. Üstün Akmen Theatre Awards, "Havva" will meet the audience on February 11th at the Inspera Livaneli Stage.
