LearningYıldız. A budgerigar living with a family of five. She loves cucumber with lemon, reading books in the bathroom with Bilge, hearing Serap yell at Hamdi, perching on a shoulder when Ela cries, and hiding inside Ece’s purple shoes. One day, she flew away from home. In a world far too vast to be discovered in a single breath, she learned many things. Apparently, that’s what growing up means. Now she’s back to tell us all about it — perched in a park, calling out to everyone who passes by. “Did you leave to get lost, or to be found?” To be found. But I don’t know where. Where do happy people live? And happy birds? Where does a happy Yıldız live? This award-winning play will be on stage at Livaneli Stage on Saturday, January 17 at 8.00 PM.
