Making his stage debut at the age of three, Artur Pizarro began his international career by winning first prize at the 1990 Leeds International Piano Competition. Since then, he has given recitals on the world's most prestigious stages, from the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra to the Royal Festival Hall. He has collaborated with distinguished conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Vladimir Jurowski and Philippe Entremont.

A passionate chamber musician with a wide repertoire, Pizarro recorded numerous albums; He received great acclaim for his interpretations of Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and Schumann. A student of legendary pianists, he is considered one of the most important interpreters of the "Golden Age" tradition of classical piano.
