Screening of the film “Ghosts” and a Q&A session with director Azra Deniz Okyay

Azra Deniz Okyay’s debut feature film, *Ghosts*, garnered attention thanks to the awards it received, notably the Best Film prize at the 57th Golden Orange Film Festival in Antalya.

The film tells the story of four characters whose paths cross over the course of a single day when Istanbul experiences a power outage; it offers a glimpse into modern Istanbul through the lens of a changing city, class differences, dreams, and hidden lives.


Following the screening, there will be a discussion with director Azra Deniz Okyay about the making of the film *Ghosts*, its characters, the film’s connection to the city, and its cinematic language.
